The term creative writing’ covers so many different genres & so this workshop will be focused on basic creative writing skills that are shared by all types of writing. Looking at inspiration, story types, story arcs, characters, dialogue, description, narrative voice, pace, use of figures of speech, grammar & punctuation to create effects. The course will be adapted to need depending on the focus of the students & there will be time to work one-to-one with everyone on their specific areas of interest. So whether it’s poetry, children’s books, young adult, a thriller, a detective or science -fiction story that you wish to write and publish I’m here to help.
A friendly and relaxed, two day workshop in the inspirational setting of the Wildwood art gallery. One-to-one tuition in a small group of just five.
Light refreshments will be provided throughout the day. Please bring a packed lunch.
