Kit Hill (Cornish: Bre Skowl) dominates the area between Callington and the River Tamar in Cornwall. The word ‘Kit’ apparently comes from Old English for kite, a reference to birds of prey which can be found in the area. Luckett is a hamlet near Kitt Hill. It is in a former mining area beside the River Tamar.
